Adoption of Highway – Sarn Place Approach Road, Risca
Overview
Caerphilly County Borough Council is proposing to adopt the length of road known as Sarn Place Approach Road, Risca.

CAERPHILLY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 – SECTION 228
WHEREAS the following listed street shown as such on the plans deposited at the offices of the undersigned, are not at the date of this Notice (a) highway(s) maintainable at the public expense but are streets within the meaning of the highways act 1980 and has been made up to my satisfaction, namely: -
SARN PLACE APPROACH ROAD, RISCA - the length of the lane known as SARN PLACE APPROACH ROAD, RISCA
which is approximately 188 meters in length running South East to North West of the side of 1 Sarn place, Risca.

Any objection to the proposed notification with the grounds for making it should be made by email to BARRYGJ@CAERPHILLY.GOV.UK by 3/7/26
NOW Caerphilly County Borough Council as the street works authority for the above area(s) hereby declares that the said street(s) shall be (a) highway(s) maintainable at the public expense on the expiration of a period of one month from the date when this Notice is first displayed, that is one month from
PROVIDED that the streets shall not become such highways if within the said period of one month the owner of the street(s), or if more than one, the majority in number of the owners, by written notice served on the Head of Infrastructure of Caerphilly County Borough Council at the address below, object thereto.
