Caerphilly Town 2035 – Our Home, Our Story, Our Future

We are seeking to involve the community in the placemaking plan for Caerphilly Town Centre.

This particular engagement will focus on the ‘top of town’ along with Dafydd Williams Park and will ask you to consider how we can improve these areas so they reflect the changes you want to see.

We will be seeking community involvement in a phased approach.

1. Festival of Ideas – August

2. Testing of Proposed Ideas – November

3. Implementing Ideas – January to March 2026

We need your help to create a vibrant town centre and we want your views to shape the changes.

Why are we consulting?

Placemaking is a process which responds to the community needs and desires, and we want our plans to reflect this.

Expected outcomes

With community input, the project team will design a series of interventions to improve the ‘top of town’ and Dafydd Williams Park.

These interventions/project ideas will then be implemented in 2026.
