Consultation has concluded
The Council is seeking views on the proposed Private Sector Housing Renewal and Disabled Adaptations Policy 2024 (the Policy).
The Policy details how Caerphilly County Borough Council (the Council) delivers financial assistance to help private owners (including private sector landlords) and where appropriate contract holders (formerly known as tenants) to repair, maintain or adapt their homes. It also provides information on the Council’s approach to improving the energy efficiency of private sector homes. (This Policy does not extend to the contract holders of Registered Social Landlords or their housing stock).
We are not able to respond to any personal issues included in your response. If you are concerned about a particular private sector housing matter, please contact the Private Sector Housing service for advice or support on 01443 811378 or email: privatesectorhousing@caerphilly.gov.uk.
Consultation timeline
The consultation will run for a 9-week period, opening on Thursday, 14th December November 2023 and closing on Friday, 16th February 2024. When the consultation closes all responses will be reviewed. The Policy will be refined in light of the consultation responses and presented to the Council’s Cabinet for approval. We aim to publish the final version of the Policy in April 2024.
