Overview
In line with the Action Plan set out in Caerphilly County Borough Council’sLocal Flood Risk Management Strategy (LFMRS), we are conducting investigations into areas with a high flood risk and those that have experienced significant flooding.As Risca is one such area, we are looking into the potential of delivering flood alleviation schemeshere, and are seeking your views onpreviousflooding incidents.
Why are we consulting
Through this consultation, we are looking to obtain the views of residents and stakeholdersregardingflooding issues and concerns in the Risca area.This will help us identify key challenges and areas experiencing flooding, which will consequentlyinform future investigations and feasibility studies.
A copy of the survey and supporting information is also available at Risca Library and the Snug Coffee Shop.
This survey is available in both Welsh and English.It is available in other languages and formats on request.
We are also hosting a drop-in session on the 11th of November at the times and locations listed below:
Risca Library: 9.30am – 1pm / 2pm – 5pm
Snug Coffee Shop, Risca: 5pm – 7pm
