Consultation has concluded
The Licensing Authority is required to review its Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005. The Gambling Policy provides advice and guidance to applicants and licence holders and details the approach that will be taken by the Licensing Authority when considering new applications and the expectations of existing licence and permit holders under the Gambling Act.
Why are we consulting?
The Authority is required to consult upon a revised Statement of Licensing Policy under the Gambling Act 2005 every 3 years.

Expected outcomes
The findings will be considered by the Licensing & Gambling Committee in the Autumn, with a view to placing before Full Council for a decision in January 2025.
To conduct 3 yearly review of existing Gambling Policy in line with legislative requirements.
