Consultation has concluded
In order to implement the proposed 30mph Exceptions there is a need to create a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO).
An interactive Map is available showing indicative locations for the proposed Exceptions have been developed in accordance with Welsh Government guidance.
A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order and Maps showing the affected lengths of road may be inspected on the following Traffic Regulation Order webpage.
Ways to give your views
The consultation has concluded.
In addition to the Exceptions, the Council is also proposing a reduction in speed limit to 40mph on 4 roads within the Borough. Details of which can be found on the Traffic Regulation Order webpage. No other speed limit changes are being considered at the present time.
Please note that the new 20mph speed limits are being introduced following a change to national legislation and are not subject to the TRO process.
