Overview:
Caerphilly Homes is conducting a series of mini ‘Pulse’ surveys in between the main tenant satisfaction survey to explore certain topics in more depth. This survey is on the topic of the energy performance of Council Homes as part of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS).
The survey aims for feedback from tenants (contract holders) on improvements to make homes warmer, healthier, more comfortable and cheaper to heat, whilst reducing carbon emissions and supporting a more sustainable future. This will help shape future investment decisions and ensure improvements are delivered in a way that works for our tenants.
A representative sample of 400 tenants will be interviewed by telephone in August 2026. Calls will come from 01908 047948 which is the number of the Prevision Research call centre in Milton Keynes
Why are we consulting:
Caerphilly Homes must make investment decisions to meet the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) and want to involve tenants in shaping these decisions. We have employed an independent research company to carry out the survey to make sure the survey is independent and reliable
Ways to give your views:
This is not an open consultation. We are taking a targeted approach and engaging directly with a sample selection of tenants. You will be contacted directly by ARP Research or their partners Prevision Research.

Tenant insight on the energy performance of our homes as part of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard. Feedback on possible improvements to make homes warmer, healthier, more comfortable and cheaper to heat, whilst reducing carbon emissions and supporting a more sustainable future.
